After comprehensive wins over Liverpool and Rangers in the Champions League, Napoli are hoping to secure maximum points when they visit Ajax


Napoli look to maintain their perfect start to Group A when they face Ajax at the Amsterdam ArenA in the Matchday 3 of the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Partenopei sit top after thrashing Liverpool 4-1 in the opening game, before overcoming Rangers 3-0 at Ibrox to take maximum points and stamp their mark on the competition early on.

In the first of a double-header against Ajax, Napoli will be hoping to secure victory over their Dutch hosts and move to the cusp of qualification at the midway point of the Group Stage.

Ajax v Napoli: Predicted line-ups

With almost a full-strength squad to choose from, Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder will be hoping to stop Napoli in their tracks, and the Dutchman is only without defenders Ahmetcan Kaplan and Jorge Sanchez.

Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti will be without striker Victor Osimhen and so Giovanni Simeone is expected to continue to deputise. Winger Matteo Politano should recover in time from an ankle injury and could return to the starting line-up.
