Amid the surprise resignations from the Juventus board, Sky Sport Italia has reported that current Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri had dinner with the departing executives in Turin on Monday night, shortly after the news broke across the peninsula.
The 55-year-old tactician received the confidence of president Andrea Agnelli when the Old Lady failed to reach the Champions League knockout stages, but the resignations could raise long-term questions about his future, with Agnelli, and deputy Pavel Nedved, walking away from the club.
Also in attendance at the meeting was current Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabane, although the club has confirmed that they have requested that he remain in position, despite having resigned, until they select a new board on January 18, 2023.

What is happening at Juventus?
Juventus‘ entire board resigned on Monday, November 28, 2022. The decision is thought to be in relation to the fact that Juventus are being investigated for suspicious transfer activity whereby they allegedly inflated values of players for reasons of capital gains.
The financial statements from 2018, 2019 and 2020 are being looked into by investigators. There may also be questions regarding allegedly deferred payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Will Allegri be sacked by Juventus?
Suspicious activity relating to transfer activity between 2018 and 2020, when alleged inflated player values and questions over payments during the COVID-19 pandemic, is thought to have prompted the immediate departure of the board, but that it will not affect Allegri.
The ex-AC Milan coach oversaw a run of six consecutive Serie A victories, without conceding a single goal, ahead of the mid-season break for the 2022 World Cup, which had lifted Juventus to third in the standings behind the Rossoneri and leaders Napoli.
