AS Roma vs AC Milan: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Europa League 2023/24

AS Roma and AC Milan meet in an all-Serie A clash in the Europa League quarter-final second leg at the Stadio Olimpico, with the Giallorossi holding a slender lead.

AS Roma are looking to reach a fourth consecutive European semi-final as they defend a first leg lead in their all-Italian Europa League clash against AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Giallorossi left the Stadio San Siro with a 1-0 win last week, courtesy of a first-half Gianluca Mancini header, having enjoyed an excellent display under coach Daniele De Rossi.

Milan, meanwhile, must overturn defeat in the home leg but come into the match off the back of a disappointing 3-3 draw against Sassuolo in Serie A at the weekend.

AS Roma vs AC Milan: Predicted line-ups

Roma are unlikely to be able to call upon centre-back Evan Ndicka after his on-field collapse prompted the suspension of the Lupi’s Serie A match against Udinese, and Chris Smalling is in line to partner Mancini in defence.

Midfielder Bryan Cristante serves a suspension and could be replaced by Houssem Aouar, whilst Paulo Dybala will return to the starting line-up after being rested against Udinese. Sardar Azmoun remains ruled out with injury, but De Rossi has an otherwise full-strength squad to pick from.

Milan coach Stefano Pioli has been handed a boost by the return to fitness of goalkeeper Mike Maignan, whilst defender Malick Thiaw is set to be available despite being forced off against Sassuolo.

Fellow centre-back Simon Kjaer is ruled out however, and joins Pierre Kalulu and Tommaso Pobega on the sidelines. Olivier Giroud is expected to lead the line once more, with Rafael Leao, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Christian Pulisic in support.

AS Roma predicted XI vs AC Milan (4-3-3): Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Smalling, Angelino; Aouar, Paredes, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.

AC Milan predicted XI vs AS Roma (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Gabbia, Hernandez; Reijnders, Bennacer; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
