AS Roma 3-0 Ajax: Goals, highlights and report – Women’s Champions League 2023/24

AS Roma could not be stopped as they took Ajax apart in their second Women's Champions League game of the season, picking up an impressive 3-0 win at the Stadio Tre Fontane.

AS Roma Women continued their bright start to this Women’s Champions League campaign with an impressive 3-0 win at home to Ajax on Matchday 2.

Valentina Giacinti and Manuela Giugliano were among the goals for the Italian champions, with the No.9 scoring twice inside the opening quarter of an hour to put the Giallorosse firmly in the driving seat. Giugliano then made it a three-goal cushion for the hosts early in the second half, and there was to be no way back for Ajax from there.

Roma now sit level with Bayern Munich on four points at the top of Women’s Champions League Group C and face a double-header against bottom-placed Paris Saint-Germain on December 14 and 20.
