AS Roma vs Torino: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

In-form AS Roma look to continue their recent resurgence under Daniele De Rossi when they take on Torino in Matchday 26 of Serie A.

Fresh from their Europa League drama, AS Roma return to domestic action when they welcome Torino to the Stadio Olimpico in Matchday 26 of Serie A.

The Giallorossi defeated Feyenoord in a penalty shootout to progress, whilst their Serie A form has improved considerably in recent weeks as they target a return to the Champions League.

Torino, meanwhile, sit firmly in midtable but will be looking to fare better against a capital club this time around, having lost 2-0 to Lazio in their previous match.

AS Roma vs Torino: Predicted line-ups

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma coach Daniele De Rossi is likely to retain attacking trio Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, and Stephan El Shaarawy despite a gruelling Europa League clash that went into extra-time and penalties.

There are set to be changes in defence though, with the injured Diego Llorente replaced by Evan Ndicka, and Angelino expected to come in for the rested Leonardo Spinazzola at left-back. Striker Tammy Abraham is the only other injured absentee.

Torino look to ex-Roma attacker Antonio Sanabria and Duvan Zapata, who was heavily linked with a move to the Lupi in the summer, to lead the line.

Perr Schuurs remains a long-term absence through injury, whilst fellow defenders Ricardo Rodriguez, Alessandro Buongiorno, and Mergim Vojvoda are also ruled out.

Roma duo Rasmus Kristensen and Lorenzo Pellegrini are one booking away from suspension.

AS Roma predicted XI vs Torino (4-3-3): Svilar; Karsdorp, Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino; Paredes, Cristante, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.

Torino predicted XI vs AS Roma (3-4-1-2): Milinkovic; Djidji, Lovato, Masina; Bellanova, Linetty, Ilic, Lazaro; Ricci; Sanabria, Zapata.
