AS Roma host Juventus in Matchday 25 of Serie A as they look to bounce back in their quest to secure Champions League qualification, whilst the Bianconeri are closing in on them after a thrilling win over rivals Torino last time out.

Roma were left humbled by a shock 2-1 defeat to Cremonese on Tuesday, the hosts’ first league win of the season, and find themselves in fifth place in the table. Having fumbled a chance to move level with Inter in second, the Lupi must rediscover their wavering form.

Juventus, meanwhile, have responded to their 15-point deduction for capital gains fraud in impressive style, and will close the gap on Roma to just six points with a victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

AS Roma v Juventus: Predicted line-ups

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma striker Tammy Abraham is expected to return to the starting line-up, and Stephan El Shaarawy could also be handed a start, with doubts surrounding the fitness of Paulo Dybala. Chris Smalling returns from suspension and is expected to take the place of Marash Kumbulla.

Juventus, meanwhile, will turn to striker Dusan Vlahovic and Angel Di Maria in attack, whilst Manuel Locatelli is expected to return to midfield to replace Enzo Barranechea. Arkadiusz Milik and Fabio Miretti are ruled out through injury.

Bianconeri trio Adrien Rabiot, Alex Sandro, and Moise Kean are all one booking away from a suspension, whilst Roma pair Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante must also tread carefully.
