Bologna vs Juventus: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Bologna and Juventus have sealed qualification for the 2024/25 Champions League, but they will play for more than pride on Serie A Matchday 37.

Juventus will travel to the Stadio Dall’Ara to face Bologna on Serie A Matchday 37 with both teams already sealing Champions League qualification for next season.

The Bianconeri and the Rossoblu are equal third in the table with 67 points and they head into the penultimate round of the 2023/24 campaign with victories. La Vecchia Signora won the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta on Wednesday evening while the Felsinei defeated Napoli 2-0 in their latest Serie A fixture.

Juventus have achieved their targets for the season, but the performances under Massimiliano Allegri have been lacklustre to say the least, and they could only draw 1-1 against Salernitana to seal a place in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Bologna have been the revelation of the season, qualifying for Europe for the first time in over 20 years, and doing so by playing entertaining football. Rossoblu tactician Thiago Motta has earned plaudits for his style of play, and reports in the Italian press suggest that he could replace Allegri at Juventus next season.

Bianconeri fans might be witnessing the end of the second Allegri era while also getting a glimpse into a possible future with Motta.

Dusan Vlahovic calls for his Juventus teammates to keep fighting for an equaliser against Salernitana (@juventusfcen).

Bologna vs Juventus: Predicted line-ups

Bologna are expected to be close to full strength, but defender Adama Soumaoro and star striker Joshua Zirkzee are doubts to feature. There are several key players that are one yellow card away from being suspended such as Riccardo Calafiori, Victor Kristiansen, Remo Freuler, Charalampos Lykogiannis, and Giovanni Fabbian.

Motta could line his team up in the 4-1-4-1 formation. Freuler is expected to be the only midfielder in a holding role while Michel Aebischer and Oussama El Azzouzi should operate in more advanced positions. Jens Odgaard is tipped to operate in the lone striker role.

Meanwhile, Juventus is close to have a full squad available, but Mattia De Sciglio is a doubt with an injury. Andrea Cambiaso is one yellow card away from serving a ban, but Nicolo Fagioli will be back in the squad after serving his ban for illegal online betting.

Bologna predicted XI vs Juventus (4-1-4-1): Skorupski; Posch, Lucumi, Calafiori, Kristiansen; Freuler; Orsolini, Aebischer, El Azzouzi, Saelemaekers; Odgaard

Juventus predicted XI vs Bologna (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Weah, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Cambiaso; Chiesa, Vlahovic
