AC Milan coasted to a routine 3-1 victory over Cagliari in Serie A Matchday 6, and currently sit level on points with league leaders Inter, although the Nerazzurri have a game in hand over the Rossoneri.
Things got off to a poor start for the Milanese club as they fell behind through a powerful Zito Luvumbo effort. The Diavolo answered just 10 minutes later through Noah Okafor, before adding a second through Fikayo Tomori minutes before the half-time whistle.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s 22-yard effort put the game to bed for Stefano Pioli’s side as they continue to try to rectify the disappointment from the Derby della Madonnina.
For Cagliari, things still look very bleak. Whilst they scored only their second goal of the Serie A season, they are still without a win.
