The first legs of the Coppa Italia Femminile semi-finals were played out over March’s first weekend with Martina Piemonte and AC Milan Women’s good form continuing as the powerful forward led the Rossonere to a 1-0 win over runaway Serie A Femminile leaders AS Roma.
Both semi-final first legs were held in Milan, with Inter and Juventus proving inseparable again as they played out a 1-1 draw on Saturday, ahead of Milan’s narrow win against the Giallorosse.

All to play for the in the Derby d’Italia
For the second time in three meetings this season, nothing could split Inter and Juventus as they drew 1-1 on Saturday afternoon. Their first clash of the season ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw in Turin before the Bianconere claimed a hard-fought 2-0 win in the return fixture in Milan.
Juventus got themselves in front in the first half through Canadian Julia Grosso, continuing her fine form this season under Joe Montemurro and scoring yet another big goal – following an opener against Como and a game-shaping strike in the win away at AS Roma in December.

Beatrice Merlo was able to level things up shortly after the hour mark though and just three minutes after the brilliant Tabitha Chawinga had been introduced.
AS Roma fall at the feet of an ex

The second legs are to be played this coming weekend in Rome and Turin respectively. Both Juventus Women vs Inter Women and AS Roma Women vs AC Milan Women are on Saturday, March 11 at 14:30 CET before
