The Euro Show: Two feet in the Champions League semi-finals

Inter and AC Milan claimed first-leg leads in their respective Champions League quarter-finals, with Napoli finding themselves in a troubling situation. We're here to chat through all of Tuesday and Wednesday's European action.

Serie A’s sides are having a good time in European competition this season and that continued for both AC Milan and Inter as they claimed first-leg wins in their respective Champions League quarter-final ties. Milan’s, though, came at the expense of Napoli at the Stadio San Siro and Inter won away at Benfica.

While we had Alasdair Mackenzie at the San Siro for us, we’ve got Conor Clancy here to host both Kevin Pogorzelski and Euan Burns to chat through the midweek European action.

The guys discussed Ismael Bennacer’s often understated brilliance in Milan’s midfield, Napoli’s troubles against the bigger sides since the turn of the year, and plenty more.

As always, The Euro Show is available here exclusively to those who have signed up on Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball. You can join us over there for €2, €5 or €10 a month and have access to multiple weekly bonus podcasts.

We’ll be back with more this week in the Serie A Preview Show and, of course, the usual pod at the end of the week as well.
