Feyenoord vs Lazio: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Champions League 2023/24

Lazio have been providing plenty of drama in the Champions League so far this season but they will be hoping for a calm victory away at Feyenoord to continue their improved form.

If Lazio are to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, it looks like they will need to finish above their Matchday 3 opponents, Feyenoord. Champions League Group C has been relatively close so far, but a victory on Wednesday would put the Biancolesti four points clear of Feyenoord.

With three wins in their last three games across the Champions League and Serie A, the Aquile’s fortunes might have finally turned around. With just two weeks separating the reverse fixture, it offers a great chance to stamp their mark on the group.

Feyenoord are coming off the back of a fantastic Eredivisie start, winning seven times and drawing twice. Maurizio Sarri’s side will have their work cut out as Feyenoord are never an easy team to beat, especially when they are at home.

Feyenoord vs Lazio: Predicted line-ups

Maurizio Sarri could welcome back Ciro Immobile to the Lazio starting 11 after the striker played the final 10 minutes against Sassuolo on Serie A Matchday 9. The veteran last started for the Biancocelesti in the win against Celtic at the start of October on Champions League Group C Matchday 2.

Sarri is also set to bring Mattia Zaccagni back into proceedings. Pedro was given the nod ahead of the game against the Neroverdi to offer the Italian a chance to rest further ahead of Wednesday’s fixture.

Feyenoord pair Santiago Gimenez and Yankuba Minteh will miss the game, much to the despair of the Dutch outfit. The pair have contributed 20 times this season, so it is a big hit for Feyenoord
