The Coppa Italia final will see Inter and Fiorentina do battle, with both teams knowing that they also have a European final each to come at the start of June.

The final piece of domestic silverware will be handed out in Italy on Wednesday night as Fiorentina and Inter face off in the Coppa Italia final. Unusually, both teams have still got another final to come after this one as Inter are in the Champions League final and Fiorentina are in the Europa Conference League final.

Neither side managed to pick up a win in the Serie A game preceding the Coppa Italia final. Inter were beaten by champions Napoli after being reduced to 10 players in the first half, whilst Fiorentina only managed a 1-1 draw away at Torino.

Inter have already won the Supercoppa Italiana this season, whilst Fiorentina last won a trophy in 2001 when they lifted the Coppa Italia for the sixth time. Simone Inzaghi’s superb record in cup competitions with Inter means they are the clear favourites to win in Rome.

Fiorentina vs Inter: Predicted line-ups

Vincenzo Italiano is enjoying a good spate of health within his squad as Salvatore Sirigu is the only player who is currently out injured ahead of the cup final. It remains to be seen whether the coach will choose Arthur Cabral or Luka Jovic as the main striker, given both are in great form.

As for Inter, they will certainly be without Milan Skriniar for the match and he is unlikely to play for the club ever again. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also a serious doubt but he has not been fully ruled out yet.

Fiorentina predicted XI vs Inter (4-3-3): Terracciano; Dodo, Milenkovic, Martinez Quarta, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Amrabat, Castrovilli; Ikone, Cabral, Gonzalez.

Inter predicted XI vs Fiorentina (3-5-2): Handanovic; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Lautaro, Dzeko.
