Genoa stunned an abject AS Roma by beating them 4-1 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Thursday night to end Matchday 6 in Serie A with a bang.
The Grifone took the lead early in the game through Albert Gudmundsson but Bryan Cristante was soon able to level things up. Before the break though, Mateo Retegui scored after a fine team move to make it 2-1. Goals in the second half came from Morten Thorsby and Junior Messias.

Genoa climb to 11th in Serie A with this victory, whilst Roma find themselves languishing in 16th place after a terrible start to the season.
