Reigning champions Napoli came from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 draw against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Matchday 4 of Serie A on Saturday.
A Mattia Bani header put the Grifone ahead, before Italy Men’s National Team striker Mateo Retegui drilled in to double Genoa‘s advantage. Substitute Giacomo Raspadori halved the deficit with a vicious effort, and a wonderful Matteo Politano volley late on brought the visitors level to rescue a point.
The draw leaves Napoli in fifth place on seven points, whilst Genoa move into 12th place and sit three points behind the champions.
