Hellas Verona vs AS Roma: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online

After being held to a draw in their opening game of the season, AS Roma are looking to bounce back with a victory over Hellas Verona in Matchday 2 of Serie A.

AS Roma seek their first win of the Serie A season when they visit Hellas Verona at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in Matchday 2 on Saturday, after a frustrating start to the campaign.

Jose Mourinho‘s side were held to a 2-2 draw against Salernitana on the opening weekend, with the only positive being the return to form of striker Andrea Belotti as he netted a brace and saw another goal chalked off for a marginal offside.

Verona made an impressive start to the campaign by earning a 1-0 win over Empoli, and will be looking for more points against the Giallorossi as they put their near-death brush with relegation last season behind them.

Hellas Verona vs AS Roma: Predicted line-ups

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma welcome back forward Paulo Dybala and captain Lorenzo Pellegrini from their respective suspensions, with Stephan El Shaarawy and Edoardo Bove likely to drop to the bench.

Tammy Abraham remains out with an ACL injury and so Dybala will be partnered by Andrea Belotti, whilst defender Marash Kumbulla is the only other absentee.

Milan Djuric is likely to lead the line for Verona, in front of Cyril Ngonge and Jordi Mboula, whilst Darko Lazovic, Ajdin Hrustic, and Thomas Henry face late fitness tests.

Hellas Verona predicted XI vs AS Roma (3-4-2-1): Montipo; Hien, Magnani, Dawidowicz; Terracciano, Hongla, Duda, Doig; Folorunsho, Ngonge; Djuric.

AS Roma predicted XI vs Hellas Verona (3-5-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Llorente; Kristensen, Pellegrini, Paredes, Cristante, Zalewski; Dybala, Belotti.
