Striker Marcus Thuram headed the Nerazzurri into a first half lead, before a Lautaro Martinez brace and Hakan Calhanoglu‘s penalty after the break ensured a comfortable victory for the hosts.
The win sees Inter join AC Milan on nine points at the top of the Serie A table ahead of the Derby della Madonnina in Matchday 4, whilst Fiorentina sit in eighth place on four points.
