Simone Inzaghi’s side will be looking to bounce back once again when Lecce make the long trip north to take on the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday afternoon on Matchday 25.
The defeat to Bologna places Inter right back into the thick of the battle for the top four as AC Milan are now level on points with them. Lecce are enjoying a great season though, meaning they will not make it easy for Inter.
Inter vs Lecce: Predicted lineups
Stefan de Vrij is expected to come out of the team after being hooked at half time for a poor display against Bologna. There are not currently fresh fitness issues for Inter but they will be keen to see if Milan Skriniar, Joaquin Correa and Federico Dimarco can recover to play a role in the game.
As for Lecce, they were disappointed to lose 1-0 at home to Sassuolo last time out. Lameck Banda and Assan Ceesay were taken off at half time so they may not be placed in the starting lineup for this one. Federico Di Francesco will come back from suspension, though.
Inter predicted XI vs Lecce (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Barella, Gosens; Lautaro, Dzeko.
Lecce predicted XI vs Inter (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Umtiti, Tuia, Pezzella; Gonzalez, Hjumland, Maleh; Strefezza, Ceesay, Di Francesco.
