The Italy Men’s National Team ended their preparations for the 2024 European Championship with a win, edging Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0 at Empoli‘s Stadio Carlo Castellani.

Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi got the game’s only goal with a fine volley, netting his fourth goal in nine Azzurri appearances under Luciano Spalletti.

The goal came on 38 minutes when Juventus forward Federico Chiesa delivered a ball from the left and Frattesi, seemingly floating in mid-air, caught the ball sweetly with the inside of his right foot to pick out the top corner.

The Azzurri are next in action on Saturday, June 15, when they begin their Euro 2024 Group B campaign against Albania. Kick-off in Dortmund is at 21:00 CEST.
