Juventus vs AC Milan: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus and AC Milan will be playing for pride on Serie A Matchday 34 after Inter sealed the scudetto and both sides will likely participate in the Champions League in 2024/25.

With both teams expected to seal Champions League qualification, Juventus host AC Milan on Serie A Matchday 34 with little more than pride to play for in this clash between two giants of the Italian game.

The Rossoneri are second in the table with 69 points, one place above and five points clear of their opponents. They lost 2-1 to Inter in their previous match, which allowed their city rivals to seal the scudetto in the process. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri drew 2-2 against Cagliari in their latest Serie A fixture.

Both coaches have been under fire throughout the season, and media reports in Italy suggest that they will leave at the end of the campaign. Juventus tactician Massimiliano Allegri has seen his team drop away from the title race in the second half of the season, and seen him persist with conservative tactics. Meanwhile, his AC Milan counterpart Stefano Pioli failed to reproduce the Champions League semi-final run of 2022/23, and he has looked short on ideas.

Could both coaches be facing each other in this fixture for the final time?

Juventus vs AC Milan: Predicted line-ups

Juventus will miss Moise Kean and Fabio Miretti due to injuries whereas Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are serving lengthy bans. Andrea Cambiaso and Timothy Weah are one yellow card away from being suspended.

Allegri is not expected to make many changes from the draw against Cagliari, persisting with the 3-5-2 formation, and likely to start Weston McKennie at right wing-back ahead of Weah.

Meanwhile, Pioli will have to make several changes to the AC Milan defence because of Davide Calabria, Theo Hernandez, and Fikayo Tomori being unavailable due to suspension.

Yunus Musah and Matteo Gabbia are one yellow card away from serving bans. Pierre Kalulu remains on the sidelines with a knee injury while Antonio Mirante and Simon Kjaer will need to take fitness tests before being cleared to play.

Pioli will have a makeshift defence, and it is possible that Musah, a central midfielder, will be forced to operate as a right-back. Star forward Rafael Leao was tested as a lone striker against Inter, but he should return to his preferred role on the left wing.
