Juventus vs Fiorentina: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus and Fiorentina play each other on Serie A Matchday 31. Although both teams lose in Serie A in the previous round, their respective cup wins will boost their confidence.

Juventus will host Fiorentina at the Allianz Stadium on Serie A Matchday 31, and despite not being in the best form in the league, both sides have regained some confidence after winning their respective fixtures in the Coppa Italia.

The Bianconeri are third with 59 points, but they have won just once in the last eight rounds, and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Lazio in the previous weekend. However, La Vecchia Signora won 2-0 against the Aquile midweek in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg.

Meanwhile, the Gigliati are 10th with 43 points albeit with a game in hand. They did lose 2-1 to AC Milan in their last Serie A match, and have won just once in the last six rounds, but they also won midweek in the Coppa Italia against Atalanta thanks to a spectacular goal from Rolando Mandragora.

Juventus won 1-0 when they last faced each other Matchday 11, but the Bianconeri were in better form at that time. On the back of their cup victories midweek, both sides should fancy themselves.

Juventus vs Fiorentina: Predicted line-ups

Juventus will be missing Carlos Alcaraz and Arkadiusz Milik due to injuries while Alex Sandro is a doubt to feature against Fiorentina. Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic will return from serving his one-match suspension and face his former club.

Bianconeri tactician Massimiliano Allegri will implement the 3-5-2 formation as he has for the vast majority of the season, but some of his potential selections might raise a few question marks. Daniele Rugani is expected to start in defence ahead of Federico Gatti while Mattia De Sciglio will probably start at left wing-back ahead of Filip Kostic and Samuel Iling-Junior.

Gigliati coach Vincenzo Italiano has a full strength team to choose from, but Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic is one yellow card away from serving a ban. Italiano should start former Juventus players Arthur Melo – who is still owned by the Bianconeri – and Mandragora as his double pivots in midfield.

Juventus predicted XI vs Fiorentina (3-5-2): Szczesny; Rugani, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, Miretti, Locatelli, Rabiot, De Sciglio; Chiesa, Vlahovic

Fiorentina predicted XI vs Juventus (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Kayode, Milenkovic, Ranieri, Biraghi; Arthur, Mandragora; Gonzalez, Bonaventura, Sottil; Belotti
