Juventus vs Genoa: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus will host Genoa on Serie A Matchday 29 and both sides have struggled to win in recent weeks. Will any of these two teams be able to break their drought in this encounter?

Juventus will host Genoa at the Allianz Stadium on Serie A Matchday 29 in a match featuring two teams that are struggling to win.

The Bianconeri have won once in seven matches, a fortuitous 3-2 win against Frosinone on Matchday 26, and after drawing 2-2 against Atalanta in their previous game, they have dropped to third in the table with 58 points, one point behind AC Milan.

Meanwhile, the Rossoblu have only obtained one victory in their last six Serie A matches, a 2-0 win against Udinese on Matchday 26, and they have lost three games in that period including the 3-2 defeat to Monza in the last round.

It would take a calamitous collapse for Juventus to miss out on Champions League qualification at this stage while Genoa look very unlikely to be dragged into a relegation battle. Due to both teams being unable to collect victories in recent weeks, this match will probably have the makings of a stalemate.

Juventus vs Genoa: Predicted line-ups

Juventus will miss Carlos Alcaraz due to an injury and Adrien Rabiot is not expected to make his return in this match. Dusan Vlahovic will return from his ban and should play alongside Federico Chiesa in attack. At left wing-back, Samuel Iling-Junior could start ahead of Filip Kostic.

Meanwhile, Genoa will be missing Stefano Sabelli due to suspension, while Mateo Retegui and Kevin Strootman are one yellow card away from serving bans. Defenders Alan Matturro and Aaron Martin are unavailable due to muscular injuries. Johan Vasquez will regain his place in the Rossoblu defence after he was suspended for the Monza clash.

Juventus predicted XI vs Genoa (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Miretti, Iling-Junior; Chiesa, Vlahovic
