Juventus vs Monza: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus will bring their 2023/24 campaign to a close when they host Monza on Serie A Matchday 38 in Paolo Montero's second match as interim coach following that crazy comeback against Bologna.

Juventus will bring their season to a close when they host Monza at the Allianz Stadium on Serie A Matchday 38, and for both teams, there is only pride to play for in the final round.

The Bianconeri are equal third with Bologna on 68 points, they have sealed Champions League qualification for 2024/25, and they drew 3-3 in a thrilling match against the Rossoblu in the previous round. Coach Massimiliano Allegri was sacked after the Coppa Italia triumph against Atalanta, and Paolo Montero took over in an interim role.

Meanwhile, Monza are 12th in Serie A on 45 points, and they cannot drop any lower as Hellas Verona are eight points behind. They have failed to win their last eight matches, but it has still been a respectable campaign for the Brianzoli, who were expected to struggle after the passing of club patron Silvio Berlusconi in 2023.

With their targets met and Allegri no longer in charge, Juventus showed more fight and flair under Montero, while Monza have one of Italian football’s most promising young coaches in Raffaele Palladino. Could both sides throw caution to the wind or will they be lackadaisical and watch the clock tick for 90 minutes?

Juventus vs Monza: Predicted line-ups

Juventus are expected to start in the 3-5-2 formation, with Montero putting Timothy Weah in place of the suspended Andrea Cambiaso, and Samuel Iling-Junior on the left flank instead of Filip Kostic. Fabio Miretti should start in midfield, but it is possible that Nicolo Fagioli could make his first start in months.

Meanwhile, Monza will probably start in the 3-4-2-1 formation, but they will miss Patrick Ciurria, Daniel Maldini, and Andrea Carboni due to injuries. Dany Mota should start as the lone striker ahead of Milan Djuric, Valentin Carboni and Andrea Colpani will probably play behind Mota, and Alessio Zerbin should operate on the left flank.

Juventus predicted XI vs Monza (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Weah, Miretti, Locatelli, Rabiot, Iling-Junior; Chiesa, Vlahovic

Monza predicted XI vs Juventus (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Izzo, Pablo Mari, Caldirola; Birindelli, Pessina, Bondo, Zerbin; Colpani, V. Carboni; Mota
