Juventus vs Napoli: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

Juventus have a chance to keep at the heels of Inter when they face a Napoli side still finding their feet under Walter Mazzarri on Serie A Matchday 15.

Juventus will host Napoli on Serie A Matchday 15 at the Allianz Stadium as they try to keep pace with leaders Inter.

The Bianconeri have not lost a match since they were defeated 4-2 by Sassuolo on Matchday 5 and they won their latest match 2-1 against Monza. La Vecchia Signora have achieved this unbeaten run despite several players being sidelined at times, but multiple players slowly returned in recent weeks such as Danilo, Alex Sandro, and Manuel Locatelli.

Napoli are still trying to find their feet on the return of Walter Mazzarri to the Partenopei bench. Since he replaced Rudi Garcia, the Neapolitans beat Atalanta 2-1, but they lost 4-2 to Real Madrid on Champions League Matchday 5 and were defeated 3-0 by Inter on Sunday evening.

With home advantage and a settled line-up, Juventus should feel confident about getting a victory against the reigning Serie A champions. However, Napoli still have a talented team at their disposal, and the likes of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are more than capable of turning a game around.

Juventus vs Napoli: Predicted line-ups

Juventus will still miss Mattia De Sciglio with a knee injury and Timothy Weah with a thigh problem. Meanwhile, Napoli are without left-backs Mario Rui and Mathias Olivera with injuries of their own.

Each side will have a player at risk of being suspended. Bianconeri defender Federico Gatti is one yellow card away from a bad while Partenopei midfielders Jens Cajuste is in the same situation.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri should bring Danilo back into the defence after his cameo against Monza, and Manuel Locatelli should make his return in midfield after Hans Nicolussi Caviglia started the last two Serie A matches. His Napoli counterpart Mazzarri will have to start either central defenders Natan or Juan Jesus at left-back due to a lack of natural left-backs available.

Juventus predicted XI vs Napoli (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Vlahovic, Chiesa.

Napoli predicted XI vs Juventus (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Ostigard, Natan; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia
