It has been known for some time that it would take a substantial fee to prise the Nice midfielder from his current club. However, after Juventus didn’t spend heavily in the summer, there are funds available.
Who is Khephren Thuram?
Son of the legendary Juventus defender Lilian Thuram, Khephren is a player in high demand. Born in Reggio Emilia in 2001, much like brother and Inter forward Marcus Thuram, Khephren has ties to Italy after his father’s time with Parma and the Bianconeri.
The midfielder debuted at just 17 years old for AS Monaco. Two years later, he joined OGC Nice. At 22, he is a mainstay in the Eaglets’ starting XI.
The 22-year-old possesses the same physical traits as his father, which makes him stand out. This makes him a great option both as a no.8 or as a deeper midfielder, a versatility which is greatly appreciated by Juventus.
The Frenchman is great going forward making him an all-action midfielder, with it being a commodity to see him driving his side up the pitch before looking for a pass to his teammates.
Who else is interested in Khephren Thuram?
With reports suggesting that the midfielder is available for as little as €40 million, it is no surprise that many of Europe’s elite are circling OGC Nice for their prized asset.
Juventus are expected to face competition from PSG, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Thuram, as reported by Calcio Mercato.
