Juventus transfers: Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United all hold serious interest in Vlahovic

There is going to be a lot of movement at Juventus this summer and Dusan Vlahovic could be shipped out. There are some very big teams that would be more than willing to snap up the Serbian.

An absence of Champions League football at Juventus next season could have an even bigger impact on their chances of qualification for the competition in future years, with record signing Dusan Vlahovic rumoured to leaving. The club will be attempting to minimise their financial losses during the summer.

The €70 million arrival from Fiorentina had a difficult first full season in Turin, but still finished the campaign as the top scorer and was expected to spearhead future attempts at domestic and European glory, but he could now depart as one of the club’s most saleable assets.

Where could Vlahovic end up next season?

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are currently the bookmakers’ favourites to prise the Serbian away from Juventus, as they look to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski leaving 12 months ago, which almost led to Borussia Dortmund stealing the German title away from Bavaria.

Then there are several Premier League clubs in the running for the 23-year-old, with Chelsea among the frontrunners. The Londoners are lacking a top quality striker, with Inter loanee Romelu Lukaku not expected to remain in the capital when he returns, but Manchester United and Arsenal could offer Vlahovic the Champions League football that he has lost with the Bianconeri.

Could Vlahovic stay in Serie A?

Unfortunately for Serie A fans looking ahead to the new season, if the former Partizan Belgrade youth player leaves the Old Lady, even those Italian rivals who finished above them are out of the running for the striker. AC Milan, Inter and Napoli do not have the finances to challenge bids from England or the European elite, like Real Madrid, and even have longer odds than a move to Saudi Arabia.

More unlikely than a move to Bayern or the Premier League is a switch to Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisian giants certainly have the finances to compete with their rivals for Vlahovic’s signature and could look to fully refresh their frontline after the exit of Lionel Messi and the rumours linking Neymar and Kylian Mbappe with moves away from the French capital, but their interest is tentative at this stage.
