Juventus transfers: Bianconeri line up Real Madrid duo and Leicester City man to replace outgoing Juan Cuadrado

With Juan Cuadrado set to depart Turin this summer, Juventus are determined to bring in a combination of youth and experience to replace him, including Real Madrid's Lucas Vazquez and a former Serie A player.

With Juan Cuadrado on the verge of leaving Juventus this summer, the Bianconeri have already begun the search for a replacement fullback and they are set to target Real Madrid pair Lucas Vazquez and Alvaro Odriozola.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cuadrado will not be offered new terms or and extended stay when his contract expires at the end of June and will be allowed to leave the club as a free agent after eight seasons at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus will look to bring in two replacements for the Colombia international, with Massimiliano Allegri keen to recruit players with versatility and attacking dynamism on the right flank.

The coach is also eager to ensure that at least one option brought in has experience to fill the void left by 35-year-old Cuadrado, whilst the other is a young talent with potential to develop.

Vazquez and Castagne the prime targets

High on the list of targets is Vazquez, with the Spaniard approaching the final year of his contract at Real Madrid and finding starts at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu hard to come by.

Teammate Odriozola is also an option and the 27-year-old would demand lower wages than Vazquez, with the added advantage of having experienced Serie A already through a stint with Fiorentina.

Meanwhile, former Atalanta wingback Timothy Castagne is also considered a top target, with the Belgian available for €15 million following relegation from the Premier League with Leicester City. Juventus are keen to secure him on loan with an obligation to buy next summer and will continue to negotiate with the Foxes.

Juventus facing battle with Barcelona and Arsenal

As they seek a younger option with potential to develop, the Bianconeri are focused on Ivan Fresneda but face competition from Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund for the Real Valladolid youngsters.

The chances of snapping up AS Roma starlet Filippo Missori have fallen significantly as he closes in on a transfer to Sassuolo, whilst Juventus could be pipped to Galatasaray‘s Sacha Boey by Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Juventus will also consider options closer to home and evaluate their own talents, with Andrea Cambiaso offered the chance to impress in preseason before a decision is made on whether to send him back to Bologna on loan.

Similarly, Koni De Winter may play a part in the first team squad next season, whilst Tommaso Barbieri is likely to be sent out on loan to gain experience.
