Lazio v AC Milan: Kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online

AC Milan are in the capital to take on Lazio in Matchday 19, with both sides having to cope without some important players.

There is added pressure in Lazio vs AC Milan on Matchday 19 of the 2022/23 Serie A campaign, with the Biancocelesti chasing Champions League qualification and the Rossoneri having lost the Supercoppa Italiana final in midweek.

Defeat to city rivals Inter in Saudi Arabia means that the Milanese giants have equalled their longest winless run under coach Stefano Pioli and will be desperate for three points to close the gap on league leaders Napoli. However, having kept 10 clean sheets in 18 matches this term, Lazio will be tough to break down in Rome.

Lazio v AC Milan: Predicted line-ups

Considering Lazio’s defensive solidity this season, it is likely that coach Maurizio Sarri will bring full-back Manuel Lazzari straight back into the first team in place of Elseid Hysaj after suspension. Whether the Biancocelesti tactician sticks with his existing midfield against the champions is less certain.

Few Milan players covered themselves in glory in the Middle East, so Pioli could begin with the same starting lineup the capital. However, after just returning from injury, Simon Kjaer is likely to be replaced by Pierre Kalulu, and Alexis Saelemaekers swapping places with Junior Messias.

Theo Hernandez was left behind in Milan due to fitness concerns and won’t feature.

Lazio predicted XI v AC Milan (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Casale, Romagnoli, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Cataldi, Luis Alberto; Zaccagni, Immobile, Felipe Anderson.

AC Milan predicted XI v Lazio (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu, Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Dest; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
