AS Roma are hoping to close in on the top four when they return to action after the international break with a visit to Lecce in Matchday 30 of Serie A.

The Giallorossi were in excellent form prior to the break and have found their rhythm under Daniele De Rossi, losing just once in the league since the former midfielder took over in January.

Lecce enjoyed a superb start to the campaign but have lost their way and have slid down the table, finding themselves in 13th place and only ending a 12-match winless run with victory over Salernitana last time out.

Lecce vs AS Roma: Predicted line-ups

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma may finally be able to call upon long-term absentee Tammy Abraham, with the striker set for the bench behind Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, and Stephan El Shaarawy.

The Giallorossi are without forward Sardar Azmoun following an injury on international duty, whilst Rasmus Kristensen remains a doubt and Leonardo Spinazzola is not ready to return following his own fitness issues.

Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini serves a one-match ban and so De Rossi may opt for Houssem Aouar in midfield alongside Bryan Cristante and Leandro Paredes.

Lecce look to Nikola Kristovic to lead the line in attack, and he will be supported by Roberto Piccoli and Pontus Almqvist.

Lameck Banda faces a late fitness test, whilst the hosts will be without injured pair Mohamed Kaba and Kastriot Dermaku.

Roma defensive trio Diego Llorente, Evan Ndicka and Dean Huijsen are all one booking away from suspension, whilst Lecce pair Almqvist and Hamza Rafia face a ban with one more yellow card.

Lecce predicted XI vs AS Roma (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Pongracic, Baschirotto, Gallo; Blin, Ramadani, Oudin; Almqvist, Kristovic, Piccoli.

AS Roma predicted XI vs Lecce (4-3-3): Svilar; Karsdorp, Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Aouar; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.
