Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori wants to move to Napoli which would allow Inter to sell Andrea Pinamonti to Sassuolo.
A domino effect is taking place in the Serie A transfer market that could be started by Raspadori making it clear to his current employers that he wants to join Napoli this summer.
The Italian forward has not been as big a player as many expected in the transfer market so far but now it seems that both Napoli and Juventus are keen on signing him.
According to the print edition of Il Mattino, he is very interested in pursuing the Napoli move as he could be an ideal replacement for Dries Mertens.
Sassuolo can replace him with Pinamonti
Given that Sassuolo have already sold Gianluca Scamacca this summer and they are at risk of losing Domenico Berardi later in the window, the Neroverdi need to get serious about signing an attacker.
Their first choice should Raspadori be sold is Inter forward Pinamonti. The 23-year-old is destined to leave the Nerazzurri this summer but Inter are demanding a fee of €20 million.
The other team in the picture to sign him is Atalanta but they have so far not gone above €15 million and risk missing out on the player.
