AC Milan are back on the road to a happy hunting ground in Serie A Matchday 4, with the early-season fixture list throwing up a return to Reggio Emilia to take on Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium. That is, of course, the stadium wherein the Rossoneri won the Serie A title just three months ago.
Rafael Leao was the star of the show that day in May as he was fundamental to another AC Milan win, putting in a monumental performance that sent the Rossoneri on their way to lifting the title. Leao was then named Serie A Player of the Season as the title celebrations got underway in Emilia-Romagna.
Leao was on song again for Milan last time out, much to the delight of coach Stefano Pioli. He scored the opener as the Rossoneri claimed a 2-0 win over Bologna at the Stadio San Siro on Saturday evening. Then, though, it was new signing Charles De Ketelaere who stole the show with a Player of the Match-worthy performance.
Sassuolo instead played out a 2-2 draw away at Spezia on Saturday, and will want to get their second win of the season after having beaten Lecce in Matchday 2.
