Serie A Matchday 13 promised so much with first taking on second, the Derby d’Italia and the Derby della Capitale. Thankfully, it delivered. Napoli beat Atalanta in Bergamo to pull further clear at the top, Lazio beat AS Roma and Juventus recorded a huge win over Inter.
Elsewhere, AC Milan beat Spezia with late drama of their own to overtake Atalanta and move into second as Napoli’s closest challengers.
Now Serie A’s sides have two more matchdays to come in the next seven days before the winter break arrives due to the 2022 World Cup being held in November and December. Matchday 14 will be played out in midweek before Matchday 15 concludes the domestic action for 2022.
