Serie A 22/23 – Matchday 11 Team of the Week

Emil Audero – Sampdoria

Played an important role in Il Doria’s first win of the season, saving a penalty from Cremonese striker Cyriel Dessers and then making multiple saves in open play.

Juan Cuadrado – Juventus

It was another solid shift on the right flank from the Colombian veteran against Empoli. However, it was his delivery from corners that truly stood out, assisting Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot.

Kim Min-jae – Napoli

AS Roma posed little attacking threat but the Partenopei centre-back was attentive when necessary and he was effective in his distribution from the back.

Alessio Romagnoli – Lazio

The former AC Milan defender formed a great understanding with Nicolo Casale in the Biancocelesti defence and he had a successful passing rate of 93%.

Theo Hernandez – AC Milan

Although he did not attack as much as usual, he was rarely beaten by Monza wing-back Patrick Ciurria and he supplied the assist for Rafael Leao to score the fourth against the Brianzoli.

Nicolo Barella – Inter

Displayed his ability to cover the entire midfield whilst also having an effect in the wide areas. He also scored the opening goal against Fiorentina and played a part in the winning strike.

Brahim Diaz – AC Milan

Laid the foundations for the victory against Monza with two superb goals in the first half.

Adrien Rabiot – Juventus

Tidy and effective in his distribution in midfield, and he sealed the victory against Empoli with two late goals.

Divock Origi – AC Milan

The Belgian striker has struggled to gain full fitness but he showed what he can do when his body is in the right condition. Supplied the assist for Brahim Diaz’s second goal and then scored the third for Milan with a stupendous strike.

Lautaro Martinez – Inter

Fiorentina could not contain ‘El Toro’, who supplied an assist for Nicolo Barella, and then scored twice.

Mattia Zaccagni – Lazio

Provided plenty of flair on the left wing for the Biancocelesti and he scored the opening goal in the away victory against Atalanta.
