Napoli are now six points ahead of the chasing pack in Italy at the end of Serie A Matchday 13. The Partenopei held on for a 2-1 win against Atalanta while AC Milan left it late to defeat Spezia by the same score.
Lazio were triumphant against AS Roma in the Derby della Capitale, winning by the solitary goal, while Juventus put two past Inter without reply in the Derby d’Italia.
Elsewhere, Fiorentina won 2-0 away to the struggling Sampdoria.
Here is the Serie A Team of the Week for Matchday 13 of the 2022/23 season, which is deployed in the 4-3-3 formation. Let us know your thoughts!

Serie A 22/23 – Matchday 13 Team of the Week
Alex Meret – Napoli
The Partenopei goalkeeper made several important saves in the victory against Atalanta, especially in the second half. His block on a Joakim Maehle effort was arguably the best of the lot.
Danilo – Juventus
A commanding and resolute performance at the back from the Brazilian and perhaps he was a bit unfortunate to have a goal disallowed as well despite being held by an Inter player.
Kim Min-jae – Napoli
Cool and composed defensively as well as when he has the ball at his feet. The Korean defender showed again that he can make clean tackles and not resort to malice.
Alessio Romagnoli – Lazio
The former AS Roma youth graduate had a peerless performance at the back for the Biancocelesti. Once again, he also struck a great understanding with Nicolo Casale at the back.

Theo Hernandez – AC Milan
It was a fine performance from the Rossoneri left-back, which stood out mostly for his goal to open the scoring against Spezia. From the start of the 2021/22 season, Theo has scored seven goals, and the only defender from Europe’s Top Five goals to have scored more is Ramy Bensebaini from Borussia Monchengladbach with eight.
Nicolo Fagioli – Juventus
The young midfielder has been earning more playing time recently, and he scored the goal which sealed the victory against Inter, which was his second strike in as many Serie A games after his stunner against Lecce.
Sandro Tonali – AC Milan
Came on in place of Ismael Bennacer and produced an admirable performance in the second half against Spezia. Had a stunning strike disallowed for an apparent foul in the build-up but his delightful long pass found Olivier Giroud for the winner.
Giacomo Bonaventura – Fiorentina
Provided the experience and spark in the Gigliati midfield, and he also opened the scoring against Sampdoria.
Felipe Anderson – Lazio
Operated in the false nine role in place of the injured Ciro Immobile and scored the only goal in the Derby della Capitale against AS Roma.

Victor Osimhen – Napoli
Although he gave away the penalty that gave Atalanta the early lead, he atoned for it afterwards with his involvement in both Partenopei goals. Osimhen headed the equaliser in from a Piotr Zielinski cross and then he crossed the ball for Eljif Elmas to score the winner.
Filip Kostic – Juventus
Inter could not handle the pace of the Serbian on the left flank for the Bianconeri and he assisted for both goals with low crosses from the wing.
