Napoli and AC Milan both enjoyed impressive victories as they battled to keep up with early pacesetters Inter in Matchday 7 of Serie A, with the former kicking off the action with a thumping 4-0 win over Lecce.

Milan, meanwhile, overcame Lazio at the Stadio San Siro thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor, as the Rossoneri made it three wins from as many games.

The defeat for Lazio only heightens the pressure on coach Maurizio Sarri, with the capital club struggling on just seven points so far this term.

Inter rounded off Saturday’s fixtures with a 4-0 win over Salernitana, with the Nerazzurri sitting top of the table.

Bologna were the big winners on Sunday, with a Riccardo Orsolini hattrick leading them to a 3-0 win over Empoli. This was followed by a 2-2 draw between Udinese and Genoa, whilst Atalanta and Juventus were unable to trouble the scorers in a 0-0 stalemate.

Sunday’s action was completed by a much-needed victory for AS Roma, with the Giallorossi earning a 2-0 win over Frosinone.
