Serie A table after Matchday 31

The Serie A table suddenly looks very different after Juventus had their 15-point penalty suspended and they are on track to grab a place in the Champions League as things stand.

One team that must be wary of their presence is Lazio but they had a bad time on Matchday 31 as they lost 1-0 at home to Torino, the goal coming from Ivan Ilic shortly before half time.

There was a big win at the bottom of the table on Friday night to kick off the weekend as Verona surprisingly beat in-form Bologna 2-1 at home, whilst Salernitana started Saturday’s games by winning 3-0 at home to Sassuolo. Saturday ended with Sampdoria drawing 1-1 with Spezia, a result that does little good for either team at the bottom.

Sunday was packed full of action, with most of the top-end sides in action. Inter won 3-0 at Empoli before Monza shocked Fiorentina 3-2 and Udinese beat Serie B-bound Cremonese 3-0.

AC Milan claimed a comfortable 2-0 win over Lecce before Giacomo Raspadori claimed a last-gasp winner for Napoli as they beat Juventus 1-0 in Turin.

Atalanta beat AS Roma 3-1 in Bergamo on Monday.
