Napoli are now confirmed as Italian champions after Matchday 33, but plenty of other things happened in the midweek round. How does the Serie A table look after the midweek fixtures?

Matchday 33 saw Napoli crowned champions of Italy and yet more twists and turns in Serie A’s thrilling race to finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League, with AS Roma and AC Milan slipping up and ending the Matchday with ground to make up. Milan sit sixth and Roma seventh as a result.

Juventus will end Matchday 33 third in the table after their 2-1 win over Lecce in Turin ahead of Inte in fourth after a 6-0 hammering of Hellas Verona. Lazio ensure that Napoli had to wait to seal the scudetto as they beat Sassuolo 2-0.

Just outside the top four are Atalanta in fifth after their 3-2 win over Spezia in Bergamo, with Milan drawing 1-1 at home to Cremonese and Roma sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Monza.

At the bottom, Sampdoria lost 2-0 to Torino to fall closer to Serie B while Salernitana and Fiorentina shared six goals and the points in a thriller in Salerno.

On Thursday, Napoli sealed the scudetto in a 1-1 draw at Udinese as Empoli beat Bologna 3-1 in Tuscany.
