The third matchday of what is Serie A Femminile’s playoff stage – or Matchday 21 of the 2022/23 season – is here this weekend and leaders AS Roma Women will have the chance to again extend their lead over Juventus at the top to eight points as they return from Women’s Champions League duty and their domestic rest week. Alessandro Spugna’s Giallorosse welcome a hit-or-miss AC Milan to the Stadio Tre Fontane.

While Roma and Juventus have established themselves as the country’s two best sides, the battle for third place in the Scudetto Pool sees each of Inter, AC Milan and Fiorentina hoping to come out on top. Fiorentina are on the road at Inter in the other game in the top half. It’s Juventus‘ turn to rest.

In the Survival Pool, rock-bottom Sampdoria risk being cut further adrift as they rest, with the two teams immediately above them – Como and Parma – facing off. Sassuolo host Pomigliano at the Stadio Enzo Ricci in what is a game between the two sides so far looking the strongest in their pool since Serie A Femminile table split in two.

Where to watch Serie A Femminile?

TimVision have the rights to Serie A Femminile games domestically, so you can sign up for a subscription there if you want to tune in for every game this season.

Selected Serie A Femminile matches are shown on Ata Football. Previously a subscription service, they took the decision in March 2023 to make access free for all, and they show a handful of games each week to overseas viewers – though they are geoblocked within Italy due to TimVision holding the rights there.

Clubs often show their own games live on their respective websites and media channels as well, so those are always worth checking out. Inter TV and Juventus’ JTV are two of the more reliable places to find games.

Additionally, there is a weekly game shown on free-to-air television – here on La7 – in Italy which can also be streamed online and legally outside of Italy as well. This weekend’s free-to-air game is AS Roma vs AC Milan on Saturday.
