Serie A Femminile has almost come to the end of its regular season before the table splits in half for the Scudetto pool and the salvation pool and Matchday 17 featured some big results at both ends of the table.
Sassuolo and Parma were the big winners as they beat Como and Sampdoria respectively to move away from the bottom of the table. The bottom five has already been decided but every point is crucial down there.
At the top, AS Roma had to work hard to beat a resilient Inter side 3-2 although the Giallorosse ought to have been out of sight by half time. Juventus maintained the eight-point gap as they beat Fiorentina 3-0 in Tuscany as Cristiana Girelli got her 100th goal for the Bianconere.
