Serie A Matchday 5 Saturday results

There were some real high-quality fixtures to get excited about on Saturday, including the first Milan Derby of the season in AC Milan v Inter, as well as Fiorentina v Juventus and Lazio v Napoli.

In the Derby della Madonnina, Rafael Leao was at his very best for AC Milan in their 3-2 win over Inter, and Napoli won 2-1 away at Lazio. In Florence, Fiorentina and Juventus played out the least eventful game of the day and drew 1-1.

Milan and Napoli’s respective wins allow them to sit temporarily top of the Serie A table on 11 points from their five games each. Juventus and Inter still sit outside the top four after five themselves. AS Roma can go top on Sunday with a win over Udinese though, and Atalanta can join them by beating Monza away on Monday.
