Serie A Matchday 9 shook up various parts of the table once again and there was a lot for the players and coaches to take from the weekend. Many of the top sides won with AC Milan, Inter, AS Roma, Napoli and Lazio all securing another three points.

The matches on Saturday in Serie A kicked off with Inter beating Sassuolo 2-1 and getting a much-needed three points for their domestic campaign. Edin Dzeko managed to bag his 100th and 101st goals in Serie A.
The big game of the weekend then followed as AC Milan beat Juventus 2-0 at the Stadio San Siro. The goals came from Fikayo Tomori and Brahim Diaz, piling misery onto the watching Juventus fans.
Saturday was rounded off as former Inter midfielders Thiago Motta and Dejan Stankovic did battle as coaches of Bologna and Sampdoria respectively. That match ended 1-1.

Sunday started with Torino drawing 1-1 with Empoli, and was followed by Monza beating Spezia 2-0, a 2-1 win for Salernitana over Hellas Verona, and a 2-2 draw between high-flyers Udinese and Atalanta.
Sunday evening saw Napoli win once again as they ran out 4-1 winners over Cremonese with three goals in the final 15 minutes. There was also a 2-1 win over Lecce for AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, a game which saw Paulo Dybala pick up an injury whilst scoring a penalty.
Monday night ended in another defeat for Fiorentina as they were beaten 4-0 by an impressive Lazio side at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
