Serie A returned from the international break in style with Matchday 13 seeing the top two face off, allowing Napoli and AC Milan to capitalise. Elsewhere, AS Roma won and Lazio fell to a surprise loss. Here are all of the weekend's results.

Serie A returned from the third international break of the 2023/24 season with Matchday 13 over the weekend, and it saw the top two face off as Juventus and Inter played out a 1-1 draw in Turin on Sunday evening.

That result meant that AC Milan and Napoli were the big winners at the top of the table, with the Rossoneri beating Fiorentina and the Partenopei winning at Atalanta to consolidate their places in the top four and go closer to the top two. European hopefuls AS Roma beat Udinese 3-1 and Lazio lost 2-1 to Salernitana.

Elsewhere, Cagliari and Monza was 1-1, Frosinone beat Genoa 2-1, and Sassuolo claimed a late goal in a thrilling 4-3 win at Empoli.

On Monday night, Verona and Lecce drew 2-2 before Bologna beat Torino 2-0.
