Matchday 25 of the 2023/24 Serie A saw leaders Inter extend their advantage over Juventus and AC Milan at the top of standings, as both their rivals dropped points away from home.

The action began on Friday with Torino recording a club record-equalling 12th clean sheet of the campaign as the defeated Lecce 2-0, before Inter made light work of Salernitana, as goals from Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries and Marko Arnautovic secured a 4-0 win.

The struggles of reigning champions Napoli continued on Saturday with a 1-1 draw with Genoa at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, as they did for Juventus immediately after. The Bianconeri also drew 2-2 with Hellas Verona and have now taken just two points from their last four games. Atalanta finished the day with a 3-0 win over Sassuolo.

On Sunday, Bologna continued their chase for Champions League qualification with an impressive 2-1 win away to Lazio, while both 15:00 CET fixtures finished 1-1. As Udinese were held at home by Cagliari and Empoli fought back to draw with Fiorentina.

The final fixtures of the weekend saw AS Roma overcome Frosinone 3-0, before AC Milan suffered a surprise 4-2 defeat to Monza.
