The goals were flowing freely in Serie A during Matchday 4 with 34 going in by the time Saturday and Sunday’s matches had come to a close, with AS Roma, Inter and Frosinone all scoring with ease.

The major result of the weekend saw Inter beat AC Milan 5-1 in the Derby della Madonnina, making the Nerazzurri the only team in Serie A to have a 100% record after four matches. Juventus also impressed by beating Lazio 3-1 at the Allianz Stadium, with Dusan Vlahovic netting twice.

Roma needed a win against Empoli and they certainly got it, hammering Serie A’s bottom side 7-0. Frosinone came from 2-0 down to beat Sassuolo 4-2, whilst Fiorentina beat Atalanta 3-2. There was a late comeback for Napoli who drew 2-2 away at Genoa, whilst there were draws between Monza and Lecce and Cagliari and Udinese.

On Monday, Torino won 3-0 at Salernitana before Hellas Verona and Bologna played out a goalless draw.
