Inter and Lecce both saw their unbeaten starts to the 2023/24 season ended on Serie A Matchday 6, with the former losing 2-1 at home to Sassuolo and the Salentini falling to a 1-0 defeat at Juventus.
The Nerazzurri’s slip allowed AC Milan to draw level with the table-toppers on 15 points as they beat Cagliari 3-1 in Sardinia, with Juventus not far behind. Atalanta won 2-1 at Hellas Verona where Teun Koopmeiners, for the third straight season, scored the decisive goal against the Gialloblu.
Victor Osimhen was on the scoresheet as Napoli beat Udinese 4-1, and Lazio beat Torino 2-0.
Thursday’s games saw Frosinone and Fiorentina draw 1-1, whilst Monza and Bologna played out a 0-0 draw. There was then a battering for AS Roma away at Genoa, losing 4-1.
