Serie A Matchday 10 is the last of the October fixtures and with the clocks going back in the early hours of Sunday morning, winter is fast approaching in Italy. The Serie A table, too, is starting to take shape.

Genoa got the first win of the Matchday on Friday night as they beat a troubled Salernitana 1-0 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Sassuolo came back to draw 1-1 with Bologna on Saturday afternoon before Torino made the longest trip in the Italian top flight to beat Lecce 1-0 in Salento.

Saturday night saw Juventus sit top of the table after a late and dramatic 1-0 win over Hellas Verona. Andrea Cambiaso scored the winner in stoppage time, with Moise Kean having had two goals ruled out.

A first win of the season came in dramatic circumstances for Cagliari as they came from 3-0 down to beat Frosinone 4-3, rising off the foot of the table. Inter moved back to the top with a win over AS Roma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, before a great game between Napoli and AC Milan ended 2-2.

On Monday night, Atalanta climbed into the top four by beating Empoli 3-0, before Lazio‘s late win over Fiorentina.
