Serie A table after Matchday 22

Matchday 22 saw a change at the top of the Serie A table as Inter once again claimed their place at the summit at Juventus' expense. Here's how the full table looks from top to bottom after the latest results.

Inter returned to the top of the Serie A table on Matchday 22, still holding a game in hand over Juventus as well, as the Old Lady stumbled at home to Empoli while the Nerazzurri won away at Fiorentina. The top two face off in the Derby d’Italia on Matchday 23.

That win for Inter in Florence allowed Atalanta to move into the Champions League places with their win over Udinese seeing them leapfrog the Viola, and AC Milan drew at home to Bologna to gain no ground on anybody in third.

Lazio and Napoli played out a bore draw in the capital, and Torino closed the gap to the Partenopei in ninth to just one point by winning at Cagliari.

Elsewhere, next to nothing changed at the bottom with Genoa beating Lecce, Hellas Verona and Frosinone drawing, Monza winning over Sassuolo.

On Monday night, AS Roma shot up to fifth by beating Salernitana 2-1, meaning Daniele De Rossi has six points out of six so far.
