Matchday 34 in Serie A saw the six teams fighting over three places in the top four all come up against each other, meaning it could prove decisive come the end of the campaign.
With no Friday matches, the action got underway with AC Milan hosting Lazio at the San Siro. The Rossoneri started superbly and were 2-0 up inside half an hour. Rafael Leao had to go off injured, but they kept the score at 2-0 to secure a huge three points.

Down in the capital, AS Roma hosted Inter. The Nerazzurri were very impressive in patches against the Giallorossi and deservedly won 2-0. Roma’s late flurry of injuries could be their downfall when it comes to finishing in the top four.
Saturday was rounded off with a huge game at the bottom of the table. Cremonese’s 2-0 win against Spezia keeps their very faint hopes of staying up alive, whilst Spezia are now in real trouble.
Sunday’s matches began with a vital 2-0 win for Juventus away at Atalanta, before Torino and Monza played out a 1-1 draw. Napoli then continued their Scudetto party with a 1-0 win against Fiorentina, before Verona climbed out of the bottom three with a crucial 1-0 win away at Lecce that tightens things right up at the bottom.
Monday night’s matches saw a 2-0 win for Udinese which meant that Sampdoria were relegated to Serie B for the first time in 12 years.
