With the Italy Men’s National Team preparing for their second set of fixtures under new coach Luciano Spalletti, the former Napoli boss has named his squad for the October fixtures. The Azzurri are again in 2024 European Championship Qualification action, hosting Malta on October 14 before travelling to face England on October 17.

Italy had a mixed start to life under Spalletti in their September fixtures, with the Azzurri drawing 1-1 with North Macedonia in his debut on the bench. They then followed that up with a 2-1 win over Ukraine.

The Azzurri currently sit second in Euro 2024 Qualification Group C behind leaders England, though they sit level on seven points with both Ukraine and North Macedonia. Italy have, though, played one game fewer than everybody else in the group.
