The Euro Show: Three in, one out

The Champions League group stages have come to an end and it was only Juventus who didn't make it through of Italy's four representatives.

The Champions League group stages for 2022/23 have come to an end and the Matchday 6 fixtures have provided plenty of intrigue. Serie A has three of its four sides into the Round of 16 which is not bad going at all.

AC Milan got the job done against RB Salzburg at San Siro as they ran out 4-0 winners, and Napoli secured top spot in their group despite a 2-0 loss at Anfield against Liverpool.

Inter were beaten 2-0 by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena but that was of little concern as their place in the next round was already assured. Juventus knew they could not progress but needed to match Maccabi Haifa’s result to go into the Europa League.

The Bianconeri were beaten 2-1 by PSG but Maccabi Haifa lost to Benfica so it’s Thursday nights for Juve in 2023.

Euan Burns, Kev Pogorzelski and (briefly from the San Siro) Conor Clancy are here to look back on all of the action. As always, The Euro Show is available here exclusively to those who have signed up on Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball.
