Udinese vs AC Milan: Preview, kick-off time and where to watch on TV and online – Serie A 2023/24

AC Milan travel away to Udinese to face an Udinese side that is fighting against relegation Serie A Matchday 21. Despite their struggles, the Zebrette have been the draw specialists of 2023/24.

AC Milan will face Udinese at the Dacia Arena on Serie A Matchday 21, and the Rossoneri have a chance to build upon their momentum against a Zebrette side battling relegation.

The Diavolo comfortably sit in third place in the Serie A table on 42 points, and they defeated AS Roma 3-1, taking their latest run to four wins in five matches. It has not been a great campaign for the Italian giants with elimination from the Champions League and Coppa Italia, but they are putting themselves in a great position to return to Europe’s elite competition.

Meanwhile, Udinese are equal 16th with Cagliari on 18 points and just one point above the relegation zone. The Zebrette have won just two games in Serie A this season, but they have drawn a staggering 12 times, and they drew 2-2 against a high-flying Fiorentina in the previous round.

On paper, AC Milan should be able to win on the road, but Udinese are slowly improving under Gabriele Cioffi, and they could spring a surprise.

Udinese vs AC Milan: Predicted line-ups

AC Milan are still missing several players due to injuries with Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Tommaso Pobega, Marco Pellegrino, Alessandro Florenzi, and Marco Sportiello ruled out.

Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah are both one yellow card away from suspension. Meanwhile, Ismael Bennacer and Samuel Chukwueze are at the African Cup of Nations representing the Algeria Men’s National Team and Nigeria respectively.

The Rossoneri should start in the 4-2-3-1 formation with Yacine Adli and Reijnders as the double pivot in midfield, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao on the wings, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a more advanced role.

Meanwhile, Udinese also have a few players of their own recovering from injuries such as Jaka Bijol, Enzo Ebosse, Gerard Deulofeu, and Brenner. Roberto Pereyra and Nahuel Perez risk getting a suspension if they receive one yellow card against AC Milan.

Maduke Okoye could start in goal for the Zebrette ahead of Marco Silvestri, while veteran midfielder Roberto Pereyra might play further forward than usual and start alongside Lorenzo Lucca in attack.
